I’d been eyeing this piece for weeks and finally pulled the trigger—the way Frank Creber layers East London’s rooftops and figure studies into one narrative is genuinely captivating. The ink lines feel so precise yet spontaneous, like he caught the city’s pulse on paper. It’s already the focal point

The layered cityscapes in this painting feel like they’ve been drawn from a dozen real walks, and the figure sketches woven into the narrative give it a quiet, lived-in depth. I’ve stared at it for minutes and keep noticing a new corner of East London peeking through the brushwork.

The way this piece captures the energy of East London street life is remarkable—each figure feels like it was pulled straight from a real moment. I love how the artist's cityscapes blend observation with memory. The textured brushwork on the buildings adds a gritty, authentic feel that draws you in.
