The texture of this painting is incredible, with thick paint in some spots that really catches the light. It’s exactly the kind of bold, expressive piece I was hoping to find for my living room.

The bold, layered strokes in this abstract piece feel almost alive, and the way the colors bleed into each other gives it a raw energy that fits my living room perfectly. It’s clearly a self-taught hand at work, and that uniqueness makes it stand out from anything I’ve hung before.

The way Alicja Rys builds up those abstract layers gives this painting so much depth—it’s almost sculptural in person. The colors shift beautifully depending on the light, which I wasn’t expecting. Really glad I took a chance on this one.
